Original 2012 Koala Design
The coin’s reverse depicts an adult koala sleeping on the branch of a eucalyptus tree. The design also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Limited Mintage
No more than 5,000 coins will be issued by The Perth Mint
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Packaging and Certificate of Authenticity
The coin is housed in a presentation case and customised shipper featuring a coloured illustration of two koalas. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity also accompanies this release.
