These pieces were made with  material from uranium depsoits after WW2 in YSA
they were made into vase and wine bottles and people did not know that they are not suitabe to drink out of
items were destroyed

There are different types of UV light that effect the illumination of color.

The color change of fluorescent minerals is most spectacular when they are illuminated in darkness by ultraviolet light (which is not visible to humans) and they release visible light
