An authentic Dicranurus trilobite fossil, renowned for its dramatic spiny exoskeleton and striking three-dimensional form. Dating back to the Devonian Period, around 390 million years ago, this remarkable specimen represents one of the most ornate trilobite species ever discovered. The intricate spines likely evolved as a natural defence against ancient marine predators.

The fossil is securely mounted to the lid inside a plastic box to ensure safe handling and transport.
