Each coin contains one troy ounce of.9999 pure silver and is struck at the acclaimed Sunshine Mint. Each coin is backed by the New Zealand government and has a face value of two dollars. The obverse face of the coin displays the face value, year of issuance, and Queen Elizabeth's effigy.

On the reverse, the Truth is depicted on the crown's band, with the Lion of Judah symbol above. The Lion has been depicted in exquisite detail. At the bottom of the obverse are the coin's specifications, which include "ONE TROY OUNCE" and the high purity of ".9999 FINE SILVER."
