This is a nice large Moroccan trilobite on matrix from the Cambrian time, approximately 500 million years ago.
This trilobite has some restoration, as it is hard to dig out of the matrix bedrock
Trilobites were among the early arthropods, a phylum of hard-shelled creatures with multiple body segments and jointed legs
We purchased this specimen on our recent trip to Morocco
