This rare specimen is a fragment of unclassified lunar impact glass, recovered after a witnessed
meteorite fall in the Caribbean region. It exhibits high transparency, UV fluorescence (greenish/blue
hue), and physical properties consistent with lunar regolith glass:
- Amorphous silica structure (up to 90% SiO)
- High scandium content (1-3%)
- Hardness ~7 (Mohs scale)
- Density 2.4-2.8g/cm
- UV fluorescence: greenish/blue
